I had my upper and lower lids done at the end of June, so I'm a month and a half post-op. I am extremely pleased with everything in this regard. Not only is Dr. Fagien incredible and talented, but every interaction with any member of his staff was always 5-star. I would highly recommend him.

I write this review as a dermatologist and Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgeon with 42 years of clinical experience in general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. I have also reconstructed numerous facial wounds after removing complex skin cancers on many of my patients’ faces. With my experience, I have a full appreciation for the complexity of eyelid surgery. I have referred numerous patients for ocular plastic surgery during my career. 18 years ago, I had disappointing cosmetic eyelid surgery that ultimately left me uncomfortable and disfigured. I consulted with three other ocular plastic surgeons who recommended that I do nothing and simply live with the result. I heard Dr. Fagien speak at a cosmetic surgery meeting, where he addressed the particular problem that I had. In that presentation, he spoke about the techniques he had developed to reconnect the outside parts of eyelids to the surrounding bone. I was relieved to know that someone would be able to correct my problematic previous result. I met with Dr. Fagan at which time we discussed my concerns. All of my questions were answered with compassion and respect. In my case, the lack of eyelid support by the orbital bone and excessive surrounding skin created unnatural webbing, narrowing of the opening of my eyes and discomfort from displaced and ingrowing eyelashes. The procedure that Dr. Fagien performed, known as lateral canthoplasty with retinacular suspension, enabled correction of the discomfort and disfiguring changes that had developed. I could not be more grateful or happier! And I think I look a few years younger, but all of my friends and family say I look at least 10 to 20 years younger, especially since Dr. Fagien removed those pesky bags under my eyes, as well🤩! Dr. Fagien carries world renowned stature for his skills, innovations, publications and kindness. I would trust him with any of my patients, family members or friends. In addition, Dr. Fagien and his staffs’ professionalism and attention to detail are unparalleled!

I did my due diligence picking Dr Fagien and did he delver! Hands down THE best surgeon, very meticulous and detail oriented. Very particular and deliberate with his approach, pre-op instructions, surgical facility and anesthesiologists, his surgical technique is superb ( I am a doctor I know). My eyes look amazing! Today is less than 24 hours. No pain, virtually no swelling, no blood at all, no crusting. Have not taken single pain killer. This is the only man you should trust with your eye improvements surgery. His resume, experience, and medical publications are above and beyond reproach. He has been doing this for so long and has developed insights and new procedures to maximize the benefit and minimize the pain and downtime, that he is considered a master by the other doctors in this particular niche of surgery. His office is neat, clean, and crisp and inviting. The staff is so very supportive and really go the extra step to make sure you are comfortable throughout the whole process. My results were fabulous and the whole experience was much easier than anticipated. I have never had elective surgery and was very frightened to go through with this. But my eyes were rejuvenated and i am very comfortable now with the look and feel of my upgraded eyelids. Truly real pros in every aspect.

It takes forever to get an appointment but it is well worth the wait. I’m very very pleased with the results of the surgery (5 1/2 weeks out) and the whole process was really pretty easy. Plus the staff couldn’t be nicer in terms of answering questions and follow up. They even sent someone from the office the day of surgery to see if I had any questions and generally to put me at ease As I wrote it is worth the wait.

It took me about 5 years to make the decision to do it and then another year to find the right surgeon for me. The front desk staff was welcoming and professional. During my consultation with Dr. Fagien all my questions were answered and concerns addressed. Aside from his professionalism, Dr. Fagien is personable and friendly! Hannah, the patient coordinator, also did a great job of answering questions and was very friendly.

I love the results I get from Dr. Fagien, he’s not only extremely talented but he does it with integrity!

Dr. Fagien is one of the most ethical plastic surgeons I have ever met. I would highly recommend him. After leaving his office he advised me that I really didn’t need the work I was asking for and advised me to see my health care provider. Still continues to be my favorite physicians office for the overall care and professionalism of all staff I encounter. Office continues to abide by recommendations regarding Covid which protects us both. I met some new staff this visit who are as committed to Dr,. Fagien’s practice as he is. My visit this time was more maintenance and lasted approximately 50 minutes. As usual, every line, and wrinkle was inspected and documented along with conversation regarding my perceived wants vs. what the physician felt I needed which is interestingly less. Actual prep and procedure time 30 mins, minimal discomfort, no down time and I left a happy more rested looking woman. I work hard, I play hard and enjoy taking this time for myself.
