Breast revision surgery can include a variety of procedures aimed to address concerns from a prior breast augmentation, breast lift, or breast augmentation–mastopexy.
Common concerns that can be improved upon include capsular contracture of an existing breast implant, malposition of existing breast implants, adverse reaction of the body to the breast implants, implant rupture, sagging of the breasts, asymmetry, large areola size, unfavorable scars, visible rippling of the implant and/or a desire for a larger or smaller breast size.
